Meddy Jurack
Meddy Jurack graduated from Cleveland State University in 2019 after attending for 13.5 years part-time. They majored in Studio Art with a focus on drawing as well as majoring in English Literature. They’re currently working as a building automation and energy analytics professional, which they’ve been doing with different companies since 2007. Meddy spends their free time writing, creating art, and playing games with family and friends.
During college, and really during their whole life, Meddy did not feel comfortable in their skin. It wasn’t until their late 30s that they realised that the body image issues weren’t related to fitness, but rather to being assigned the wrong gender at birth. Meddy now identifies as Non-Binary and has felt more free to be themselves than ever.
Schroe
Meddy used to go by the nickname Schroe, which was based upon their surname when younger. It was tied to an identity that Meddy no longer felt applied to them, so they dropped it. It’s not a deadname, it’s just tied to an insecure side of Meddy that isn’t around anymore.
Now Schroe is just a character that can be seen in old art and comics. Schroe ran a place called the Corkie Commune, which was a secret cabin in the woods that was bigger on the inside. When people needed to hide away, they found themselves on a path to the Corkie Commune, which had a room waiting for them to make their own. Stories were shared, friends were made, and we helped each other out.
The Meddygon
The Meddygon is a character(s) that evolved from Meddy’s love of support and healing characters and classes and games. They seek knowledge for the purpose of helping others. The Meddygon prefer(s) to be alone together.
